You can finally place your wine orders on this website or through Basi del Diablo’s Facebook page starting 16 May, according to the brand’s management. The province of Ilocos Norte will be under a modified community quarantine on said date after graduating from the enhanced community quarantine imposed by the Philippine government last March.
Basi del Diablo can process contactless purchases through PayPal or bank transfer. It is noted, however, that the company cannot send wine to Metro Manila just yet except for Pasay, as the latter has already lifted its liquor ban. “If other cities follow suit, we will definitely be able to sell them wine, too” Sigrid Salucop, the company’s CEO says.
The company can only send wine bottles to addresses located in Luzon. While Basi del Diablo will be operational, its retail arm Wilfred’s will not open its doors just yet.
