The office of Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc just ordered a liquor ban, effectively prohibiting the “sale, giving, offering, purchase, consumption, and serving of intoxicating drinks during the onslaught of Typhoon Ramon and Tropical Depression Sarah”.

Due to Executive Order No. 36-19, Basi del Diablo Wines will not be selling any of its alcoholic products starting tonight until the liquor ban is lifted. The Province of Ilocos Norte has been preparing for Typhoon Ramon since last week. All front line agencies are now on standby, according to the Resiliency Office.
