Salucop Group, Inc.’s wine brand Basi del Diablo joined the fundraiser for Museo Ilocos Norte on November 9th, 2019, an event organised by the Gameng Foundation. The small museum located at the old Tabacalera warehouse in Laoag is among the best ethnographic museums in the country. It is the home of a large collection of Itneg, Igorot, and Ilocano traditional clothes, ceremonial relics, utensils, and more.

Inaugurated on November 12, 1999, the museo that stands today is a project of the Gameng Foundation, a foundation chaired by Irene Marcos-Araneta. The organisation hosts a fundraiser for the museo each year but this is the first time that the wine brand joined the event, according to Basi del Diablo’s Director, Sigrid Salucop.
