Basi del Diablo Wines’ CEO Sigrid Salucop wrote the foreword of “In High Spirits”, a book on tropical wines produced in the Philippines.
Written by Dr. Arturo Pacho, “In High Spirits” tackles the difficulties faced by winemakers in the country. But even if the book has sad undertones, it is described by Salucop as a book that “celebrates the beauty of tropical wines.”
Dr. Pacho’s work is a combination of great storytelling, history, and statistics about the Philippine wine industry.
“In High Spirits” is scheduled to be released June 2016.
