Drinking wine can make you look beautiful according to a study published in Alcohol and Alcoholism. The small study found that drinking a single glass of wine make drinkers look more attractive compared to when they are sober. It is needless to say that the ones who “judged” how they look did not drink any alcohol before or during the course of the experiment.

Senior study researcher Marcus Munafo, PhD said in an interview with Live Science that there is a possibility that “alcohol brought out the rosiness” of the cheeks of the participants. Munafo adds, “Rosiness is attractive” because it is a signal of “good physical health.”
